Stagecoach Holdings plc's associated company, Road King Infrastructure Limited, has announced its results for the six months ended June 30, 2000.

Net income for the six month period was HK$239.955 million or HK$0.43 per share, compared with earnings of HK$413.506 million or HK$0.73 per share in the same period a year earlier. Excluding exceptional gain, this represents an increase of 9.2%.

Turnover for the six month period amounted to HK$108.38 million (1999 - HK$132.34 million). Excluding exceptional gain, this represents an increase of 15%.

An interim dividend of HK$0.19 per share will be paid to shareholders.
