Stagecoach Group announces today that Arthur Andersen has resigned as its independent auditor. The directors have appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers as its auditors.

The preliminary results of the Group for the year ended 30 April 2002 will be issued in the week commencing 22 July 2002.

In line with best practice, the Group will provide a trading update on 29 April 2002 in advance of pre close period meetings with analysts.
